1963 Avanti   #3141     This car started out as an R2 and was immediately
shipped to a countess in Italy.   After about 15 yrs it was shipped back to the
US and bought by an minor movie actor who's name slips me at the moment.
I bought the car about 14 yrs ago.   The supercharger was missing (left in
Italy) and it had had  minor front end damage in Italy.   Instead of fixing
the car properly the body man had grafted in the most hidious head lights.
So, I  cut off the offending area and put a '64 front clip on (I happen to
like the square head light look better than the round lights).    And I have
been modifying the car ever since.
