I am downsizing and need to sell my 1963 Avanti, and have priced it to
sell. As you will see, the body and interior are in very good original
condition with no missing or broken parts. I recently had the front and
rear fenders re-chromed. This car was built May of 1963 and is #R4141.
Gold color is correct original.
Mechanically I have gone through the brakes and carburetor and power
steering and all is in very good order. Recently installed all new
motor mounts to replace worn originals. There are two things left to
complete the car. One would be to replace the hog troughs at the
underside of the doors (about $5,000) and the other would be to
re-paint the car (about $5,000), which looks good, but has been
re-touched over the years. I have priced the car to reflect a fair
price when those improvements are made.
The car has power windows, brakes, steering and automatic
transmission with positraction rear end. Approx 52,000 mi on the
odometer. This is a R-1, 289 V8
Car has not been driven for several years, and has always been in
a parking garage. The car can be driven locally and is currently
licensed. There is a new radio in the dashboard, and I have the
original. Many spare parts available with the car. Car sold as is. This
is a lovely car and I would like to see it go to someone who will give
it a good home. Additional photos available.
