Vehicle Description

	

1974 Avanti II with 270 miles on new drive train.  Car has approx 134,000 miles.  Interior 
in decent condition.  Front seats could use recovering and could use new carpet.  Needs a/c
 dryer and new hoses to complete a/c installation.   Engine is a 406ci small block Chevy and
 every part, bolt, nut, washer, is new except bare engine block, which is a 1972 4-bolt main
 400.  The engine was built with dyno break in, and installed by Superior Automotive Engineering,
 the premier engine builder in Southern California and features:

·         507hp @ 5200 rpm and 578 lbs/ft torque @ 4000 rpm

·         Lunati rotating assembly with 6” rods and 11.25:1 compression pistons (ceramic 
coated piston tops)

·         Airflow Research (AFR) 210cc Racing Head, Angle Plug, Standard Exhaust, 75cc

·         COMP Cams solid roller lifter cam, Pro Magnum roller rocker arms, and Hi-Tech roller lifters

·         Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake manifold

·         Holley 750cfm double pump carburetor

·         K&N Flow Control air filter

·         Billet Specialties Tru Trac Serpentine System and valve covers

·         MSD ignition, Pro-Billet Distributor

·         Pete Jackson Quiet Gear Drive

·         ATI harmonic balancer

·         Milodon 6-quart oil pan

·         ARP fasteners

·         Custom ceramic coated Tri-Y headers with 2 ½ exhaust pipes, H-pipe, and Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow mufflers

·         Custom built Mattson radiator and shroud with 3000cfm SPAL fan,  Vintage Air a/c condenser

·         Fully rebuilt 400 turbo transmission by California Performance Transmission.   Perma Cool transmission cooler

·         Drive line balanced,  new universal joints

·         3.73:1 twin traction differential

·         New front springs, new Koni shocks, new power steering hoses, new master cylinder and brake fluid

·         Auto Meter gauges

·         Powermaster starter

·         Edelbrock fuel pump

Over $26,000 dollars invested in drive train, suspension, and a few miscellaneous items. 
 Everything done was the best that money could buy for street use.  This is an exceptionally
