The rear brake springs & hardware are from 66-73 jeep CJ type with 11" drums. The only difference is the color. These are old parts numbers from then Bendix H7137 or EIS H7137. The rear wheel cylinders are from 78-86 ford fairmont station wagon, 73 ford fairmont and mustang 82-83 work. They are 13/16th cylinder cups. The brake shoes are from chevy. I can't recall which model, but shoe number was wagner 228 Doug Greene August 2003 ============================ #228 brake shoes were used on '63-'63 Chevy Greenbriars and Corvettes. They were also used on most full sized Chevy's from about 1963 to 1970, so although not as rare as the #173 used in the Stude Avanti's, they might be getting scarce nowadays. The #280 is almost identical, AFAICT from the shoe diagrams the only difference between the 228 and 280 is the size of the center hole in the rib. The #280 was used on '65-'72 Chevy and GMC trucks (1/2 & 3/4 ton). It was also used on the fronts of a few models of Jeep trucks in '74 & '75. Another nearly identical shoe is the 334, used on full size Dodges (Polara, Monaco) from at least '71 to '74. Hard to tell from the diagrams, but the only difference from the previous two is the addition of some reinforcing, perhaps to help prevent heat warpage. The ribbed Dodge drums work fine, Wagner #BD60204. the #228 shoes were used on Greenbriars and Corvettes from '63-'64. I should note that these are 11x2 shoes, and with the exception of the Greenbriar and Jeep, were only used on the rears. (W.F. Feb 2007)
