Chris et al, I don't know about an 88, but I just put all new weatherstriping on my 90 four-door. It is GM material and I have the stock number at home. I did 4 doors and trunk for $200 -- I susspect my body guy gave me a tremendous discount. I have done business with him for almost 25 years. I could send you a piece of the weatherstrip to see if it is what you need??? What do you think? Jim Baize ------------------------------------- Chris: as a former owner of an 88 I will vouch that the weatherstrip is from a donor 87 Monte Carlo. Your friend will need to trim the tail off the above window strip. Check also with Al Inkens who bought my car. He just bought completely new weatherstrip after having it painted. Ernest -------------------------------------- All, especially Gary, Here is the number from GM of the weather stripping for my 4 door. I don't know, it may fit some of the late 80s, too. #15522764 Each box contains one strip for one door. There is an excess on each part of about 2 feet. Not sure of the cost, yet, but it really works well and looks good! Jim Baize
