Studebaker C/K Convertibles /62ckv1

Studebaker open-air roadster
Studebaker work in progress - 62 - 55 - 53
Started life as a 62 GT Hawk and what you see is what’s left. Car runs and drives very well Brakes are good. Engine blows no oil and does not smoke
It is a 289 2bbl automatic with power steering and power brakes duel exhaust
All glass is good in car
- at start of the project - all gauges on dash worked, all lights also worked although some have been disconnected as the project progressed
- wipers work
- Dash clock
Car was not a rot box although it was not a rot and rust free car. I wouldn’t have cut this one up if it was (rust and rot free)
When car’s completed it will a great summer cruiser as it has a full back seat - you can take the family with you.
There is a company called Carson Tops and a fiberglass removable top can be made from this company - although I was just going to use it as is.
