Hi,
This may be celebrating Studebaker and the introduction of the 1950 Studebaker My dad bought a new 1950 Studebaker Champion sedan. Got 25 mpg. A couple years later, he bought a used 1951 Studebaker Champion for his wife.

There was also a large celebration of Studebaker's in Seattle's Memorial Stadium, which I attended with my father, a mechanic at Belcourt.
I was 9 years old and got the impression that this was also a 100 year celebration of its start, but I understand that the company actually started in 1852.
My dad didn't like Seattle weather, so moved to the San Fernando Valley in 1951. He worked at a shop in North Hollywood, then smog drove his family back to Seattle. He started working at Collins & Winquist in West Seattle about 1956.

Belcourt was known by his employees for being a great employer, kind and generous. Dave Ladely - (Dec 2019)
