Doxon Motors was founded in 1938. From 1938 until 1964, Doxon Motors sold
 Studebakers, acquiring Toyota in 1964. Doxon Toyota is one of the oldest 
Toyota dealerships in the United States.

From 1938 until 1977, Doxon Motors was located at 119 Auburn Way SE. In
 1977, they moved to their current home at 3405 Auburn Way NE.
