Arizona Daily Star or Tucson Citizen archives. Aug. 8, 1912 Between 30 and 40 automobiles have been sold in Tucson during July and to this date in August. There are also a number of deals not yet completed which, if they are consummated, will swell the number to about 60 before the end of August. The auto habit has struck Tucson and those who a year ago had not thought of purchasing are now the owners of some of the latest makes of machines. Ronstadt & Co., who have the agency for the E.M.F. and Flanders, both Studebaker machines, also the Case car, have sold 32 cars since the first of January. The Miller Auto. Co., agents for the Mitchell machine, reports six sales. The newspaper also reported sales of Ford, Cadillac, Stoddard-Dayton, Stutz, Hudson and Packard vehicles.
