Cleveland Man Takes Over Fac-
tory and Machinery for in-
vestment purposes
-----
Factory building and equipment of
the Studebaker-Wulff Rubber Co.,
bankrupt concern, has been pur-
chased vy Herbert Andrews, of Cleve-
land, who expected to hold the prop-
erty as an investment. It was an-
nounced today. Mr. Andrews acquired
the properry from the Equipment Co.
Inc., of Trenton N.J. It was sold to
that company on Aug. 19, 1926, by J.
W. Jacoby, trustee in backruptcy for
the Studebaker-Wulff Co.
Deed for the property was filed with
the county recorder today by Mr.
Andrews. The transfer includes a
three story brick factory building, com-
plete equipment for making tires and
other rubber supplies and the site of
2.85 acres.
Mr. Andrews stated today that the
equipment will remain in the building
for two to three weeks to provide time
for negotiations with any person or firm
who might be interested in purchasing
the property for a rubber factory
May Dismantle
In the event that no prospective pur-
chasers appear within that time, the
equipment will be dismantled and sold.
Mr. Andrews says that he already has
a buyer for part of the equipment but
will not arrange for any sale until he
is certain that htere is no possibility of
disposing of the property in its entirety.
He states that the plant is now pro-
vided with complete modern equipment
ready for immediate operation.
Mr. Andrews says that he and his
associates are in a position to assist in
financing any industrial enterprise
which would include taking over the
plant and equipment. He is head of the
Cleveland Equipment Engineering Co.
and specializes in the marketing of rub-
ber plant equipment and machinery.
Should the equipment finally be re-
tired, Mr. Andrews expects to retain
ownership of the building and site
until negotiations can be made for a
sale to some manufacturing enterprise.
He believes that there are promising
prospects of the plant being occupied in
the near future.
