Apr 2005 /////// ... fairly serious drivetrain vibration starting at about an indicated 30 MPH (3.31:1 rear) that doesn't go away, just increases in `frequency with increasing speed .... //// ---------------------- Could also be that a needle bearing is not where it should be (in one of the U joints). like it is lying flat againt the end of the "cup", rather than standing up against the side of the cup.. Had that happen before. ---------- because of a major "rumble" in the rear end, when driven with 4 people in the car. I knew exactly what it was (weak springs) ------------------ If you haven't changed out "all" the engine/tranny mounts...definitely do so....I also concur on the spring theory too. Have fun with the ride height.....And remember: At assembly line check out, Studebaker determined "ride height" with a full tank of gas and 2 150lb. persons in the front seat. ---------------
