Drum Brakes - tightness fitting new shoes-


You might also have to work on the emergency brake.  Some manufacturers are
making shoe linings a little thicker and if your drums have not been turned,
they are a real tight fit.  You may need to elongate the slot in the
emergency brake to allow the rear shoe to move in a little more.  Ted
