Scott, I bought the red LED replacement bulbs from Summit. I installed them in place of the back-up lights. Because they are red, I used the orig. lens. The LED's draw very little current and will not overload the circuit. I then installed new back-up lights as Stan discribes in his book, however, I was not pleased with the LED's. They do not work very well behind another lens, as they seem to difuse too much. Since then I glued 1/2" X 1" mirrors inside the tail light body, 7 / side. Now the orig. lights shine bright. The mirrors should be available from glass shops or craft stores in several sizes. Mine were leftover from my days of restoring 40's jukboxes. If you can't find any mirrors contact me and I can send some for the cost of shipping, which is probably more than the cost of the mirrors. Roger ---------
