56 Transtar

Lloyd's Transtar is in and pretty 
much set up.
Switching attention to the radiator and radiator mount.
The mount needs to be pretty much spot on as it aligns the front fenders and 
hood, as well as hold the radiator.
Too bad the GT Hawk fan hits the mount (and the radiator),,
Am going to trim the bottom of the mount for fan clearance and space the 
radiator forward a bit, with more on the bottom and less on the top so the 
top tank is close to the original position (so it clears the hood baffle 
pieces)
It'll be close, but it should all fit ok.
The all that is left it to run ohe p/s hoses, set up the throttle linkage, 
and figure out the new shift linkage....
Hope to have the truck running...maybe next weekend.
The driveshaft is setting at the driveshaft shop...all shortened and 
balanced...



 Greg, I'm using Dodge 3/4 ton base wheels,  NWRA # X45242 16x6, 8 on  6 1/2 wheels. PRice 2 years ago , $65.35 ea.  Work great! I run 225 R16 Goodyear H/Ts on them(E range or 8 ply).
