I'm not that fond of the Loctites in applications like this. Use either the original 'CP' grade 8 bolts or the Cat equivalents and torque them 'Clean and dry'. Use the the H.D. Cat lockwashers. If you aren't satisfied with just lockwashers you could always use drilled head bolts with flat washers and safety wire them. If you must use Loctite, probably either the 246, 266, or I would think preferably the 294, would be the best choices. Here are the part numbers for some suitable drilled head bolts. Note these are all basically the heat treated A286 alloy (high strength, heat resistant stainless). Boeing Surplus or maybe aircraftspruce.com MS9503-13 (1.188") or -14 (1.25") shank range is .13" to .25" MS9492-13,-14 is the same in an undrilled head Other possibilities: MS107418, MS107417, MS106716, MS106715 are similar bolts, but with about a .5" shank, not sure exactly which alloy this is (Manuf. spec. AMS7472).
