////////////How do I take off the stainless trim that is on the drip rail?//////------------ I have used "church keys" (can/bottle openers), 3" wide (painters) putty knives, screwdrivers, etc.. all to varying degrees of success. I can say that it is indeed possible to do without (much) damage... but it takes extreme care and a couple hours of work. I have a special pair of vice grips that are made for large hex-nuts. This works pretty well also. 1)The 3 short "clips" should be removed first 2) Then begin in the center of the windshield pair- and work your way to the corner. Once there- if you gently twist the moulding upward - it makes the corner easier to remove 3) Work the 2 side pieces from the front- to where it lost starts to roll down the side. Then also from the bottom- towards the curve. Again- twist the moulding upward and continue to work with the tool of choice- to get it off. Replacing it has been fairly easy- if you haven't really twisted or kinked it anywhere. I just use the heel of my hand to "work" it back on. DO NOT HAMMER on the moulding- just pressing and the occassional "pop" with the heel.. will reinstall it. Ray ==========================
