(Studebaker parts in boats) they sold the 53-54 Champion Deluxe wheel to Chris Craft, actually a very plain wheel without a horn ring. (Studebaker parts in Aircraft) they sold a ton of 1956 window handles to Piper aircraft.. Piper used them on the entire fleet of all models of their single engine planes for nose trim. Even used the same clip for keeping it on the mechanism......... wonder if the adjuster up in the headliner might be a window regulator from a Studebaker. When you think about it it would be strong enough to stay in one position until adjusted up or down, and there was about the same amount of turns to trim the nose. My brother's 1977 Piper Cherokee had a black handled trim crank... I gave him an NOS Studebaker one the day I saw it in there the first time.. Ray
