I ordered this car Sept. 21, 1962 from Selland Motors in Fargo, ND. Originally wanted black but you all know the story of the strike by MFC and the long delays. I was still waiting in January when the factory said it was the black color holding up production. Gray was a new choice so gray it was. Took delivery on February 21, 1963. Has 25,000 careful miles. It’s an R2 with 4 speed, heavy duty suspension, quick ratio steering and Firestone 500 tires. I forgot to mention that I ordered it “radio delete” so there’s a blank panel where the radio should be
