1963 Studebaker Avanti R1

88K miles on the stock R1 engine.

 

Stock car, clean body, mechanically sound and runs great. Hog troughs in good shape. Needs interior
 and re-chrome. Grey paint color is OK, however not stock color. Original was gold with ‘faun’
 interior.  Appears the interior was re-colored grey. 

 

Essentially a one owner car. My Dad purchased it in 2000 from the original owner who had it in storage.
 He started restoring it, however fell ill and could not finish.

 

Recent service records.

August of 08: All oil changed, brake pads/wheel cylinders replaced, new belts and oil pan gasket.
 New Struts. New exhaust, including those awesome sounding glass packs! I take it for a 30-50 mile
 drive about 4 times a year.

 

2003 -2004, New Front end replaced and interior started.
