My friend attended this auction and advisee me that this car avanti was sold on Saturday for $ 75,000. A great looking R-3 Avanti and owned by the President President of Studebker.

wowsers, i must admit that as a teenager my neighbor had an avanti and we always used to think it was ugly and a heap, I have grown fond of them since joining here

My neighbor had the same color combo new when I was kid. It was pretty cool and got lots of looks from the Chevy neighbors. Great price. Glad it got some respect.

The seller told me the interior was actually red under the black vinyl paint that Studebaker used on it. Carpet was red also and painted black.
