Anybody know about 1964 Avanti R5098

I ran across this 1964 ( I think) Avanti 30 years ago and wonder where it might be.

    Here are the details:

    Frame plate R5098
    Body tag RQ 3978
    Engine number RH319

Anybody have any information or particulars on this car that they can share given the numbers above?

    Thanks

Either the S/N given is incorrect, your information is incorrect and/or my listing is incorrect. I show 5089 as an R3, not 5098. Do I have this R3 listed incorrectly?

You are right Gary, 5089 is an R3 owned by Mark Dahl on Elm Circle Dr. in Oak Lawn Ill. in 76. They were right next to each other in my 76 roster, put the wrong one in. 5 lashes with a Stude seat belt.

For the record R5089 is now owned by Bob Kapteyn and rests in the basement of a warehouse in Joliet, IL. Original engine suffered from neglect deterioration and a clone R3 was built for it but never installed before Mark Dahl passed away sometime ago.
