Built by South Bend, Indiana, independent, 1960-1964, sleek, modern style, unique front-end distinctive design, four-seat fiberglass coupe, automatic transmission, supercharged, first American car to have front disc brakes. Maximal speed 150 mph; 290 horsepower; set 29 stock car racing records.
The car was acquired by Groves Auto Gems Trust, Loma Linda, CA, in September 1997, from Jerry McCrystal of Malverne, NY, who performed 1 ½ years total body-off restoration of a 35,000 mile car at a cost of $52K, with only 1,200 miles on it since restoration. The exterior of the car is burgundy and the interior is black leather. Per Groves’ file review the car is complete, original, restored (every nut and bolt), and everything works.
