1971 Avanti II with an automatic transmission and a 330 HP Corvette LT1 Motor. I am selling this vehicle for my grandmother, who took it as a rent payment. I don't know a lot about Avanti's but I know a lot about cars, here are the specs that I know about this car. Original Motor and Transmission. It starts right up every time and runs great. I have driven it and it has no mechanical problems. All power options and accessories work fine. The original interior is in great shape. Dash has NO cracks. Seats are excellent except for one spot on drivers seat that was professionally repaired. The car is very clean and solid all around, including underneath. The car could use some TLC. The air conditioning condenser is gone but the rest of the setup is in the car. The tires are in excellent shape. The paint is in good shape and still has shine but it does have some small cracks in it. All gauges work except the tachometer and the clock, probably just a connection issue. Only issue with the car is a slight tranny leak where the dipstick goes in, but it could be repaired with a o-ring very easily. Recent work done on the car-dual exhaust with Cherry Bomb mufflers, sounds good and not too loud, correct quadrajet carb that works perfectly, complete tune-up, new starter and alternator, oil change, valve cover gaskets, tranny pan gasket, thermostat and housing, front end alignment. Anybody looking at this car probably knows how rare they were. This is one of 107 hand assembled cars, in great shape, unmolested.
