1971 Avanti II Classic Car.  This vehicle is in excellent shape and in original condition!  The exterior paint is the original dark, metallic, wild cherry color.  It has tinted glass, the chromed bumpers are like new, and the stainless trim is excellent.

The interior is the original matching color, has no rips or tears in any seats or panels, and maintains the original shag carpet.  Dashboard is clean with no cracks or defects.  This car has been owned by non-smokers.

The engine and transmission are original.  The engine is a corvette 350 c.i.d., which has recently been tuned up with new plugs, wires, cap, rotor.  The original points distributor has been replaced with an HEI electronic distributor.  The carburetor has been overhauled with new gaskets and a float. The air conditioning compressor has been replaced with a new one.  The drier needs to be changed, and the system needs charged.  The cruise control is not currently working.  The transmission is a Studebaker Borg-Warner 'Powershift', and the fluid and filter have been changed.

The exhaust was replaced with an Avanti original OEM exhaust system.  Universal joints have been replaced.  Rear leaf springs have been rebuilt and the rear suspension bushings have been replaced.

Vehicle options include power front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, power windows, power steering, tilt column with a Nardi Racing steering wheel.  All Stewart Warner gauges are in working order.  The factory clock is correct twice a day.  The radio has been replaced with a cassette player stereo radio with 4 new speakers in the car.  The odometer currently shows 29,560 miles.  I do not have knowledge as to if the odometer is correct. I am not the original owner, and cannot attest to the accuracy of the display of mileage.  The car looks great and drives smooth.  Very dependable!

Tires have 3000 miles on them, and are mounted on the original 15 Inch Magnum 500 wheels.

Current PA inspection is good through August, '09.
