This was my midlife crisis, but after redoing the previous owners stupidity,(engine & transmission) it has become a garage queen except for the occasional leg stretching. I replaced the heads, cam, intake, and carb. Compression is 10:1, cam is comp. 280 H magnum and kit, Summit roller rockers, edelbrock manifold & carb. Has MSD modual in HEI Dist. Turbo 400 transmission just rebuilt (less than 500 miles + seperate trans cooler) Engine and trans. work well together. Engine has great sound, nice lumpy idle. All this thru big flow master dual exhaust. 3.55 rear end gears. Factory undercoating, hog troughs still good, new shocks all around. Engine is 350 ci. with 4 bolt mains. Just guessing, but horse power is some where between 325 & 350. What it needs: The interior needs finishing, I have new roll of white marine grade vinyl that matches the seats. Actually enough material to redo the whole interior. Could use new weather stripping, but its been in the garage since I've owned it and was in Texas before that. Hood needs repainting, has some blistering from being stuck in traffic on a hot day. Color is Dupont Porsche Red. Someone with a place to do the work. Clock doesn't work and the gas guage only works when tank is half empty. Almost forgot, no heater or AC. I think it needs a new heater core. I scrapped the AC because it made working on the engine to hard. I just drove faster when it was hot. Car runs and rides nice, I'm not afraid to drive it anywhere. Heck, I drove it back to my place from Texas and it wasn't near as good running as it is now.
