Not interested in trades, thanks! Avanti II, 1981, serial # RQB 3204. This is a great daily driver. All visual improvements were done to look more like the very early Avanti IIs,and all mechanical improvements were made to insure extra long life and reliability. I bought this to own until the end, but now, due to economy I need the funds to help with my small business. Chevy 350 Jasper crate motor with about 25K on it. Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. Rebuilt automatic trans. New Turner front disc upgrade and new rear brakes. Power Windows, Brakes and Steering. Air Conditioning. Many, if not all, common wear parts have been replaced in suspension, etc. Stainless steel hog troughs installed. Replacing these are necessary on most Avantis and are not cheap ($2000 range). Gas tank professionally lifetime coated/sealed. Supplementary electric fan installed. New Magnum 500 wheels with new tires. New dual Flowmaster mufflers. New stainless grill; upgraded brake lights into trunk light sockets. New front parking lights. New front chromed bumper, with new rubber inserts. New brighter backup lights. New front/rear emblems, plus added side emblems and the Raymond Lowey hood ornament, as on the originals. New overhead rocker switches. New shiny dash end caps. New quartz clock. New wiper switch. Momo wooden steering wheel/tilt column. New cd/radio and front speakers. Pontiac Trans Am 2001 bucket seats...drivers side is power. New back seat upholstery. New carpet and headliner. Extra insulation added throughout. These are very comfortable and I also mounted them back some to allow for us taller drivers. This is a daily driver, so the paint is not perfect, with some normal chips, etc. If you want a show car, this is not for you. If you want a very reliable driver, this is the one.
