This Avanti II has all the important options. Signed Nardi steering wheel, Sunroof, Leather Recaro Seats and Wire wheels. The car is drives well and we believe it has a 305. Mechanically it starts and runs well. Transmission shifts well and brakes are in good shape. Car only has about 66k miles. We bought it from a family that owned it for over 20 years. The car spent most of its life in Cleveland and then went to the East Coast. We purchased it about 5 years ago. Previous owner replaced the hog troughs a long time ago and they are very solid. Our mechanic mentioned that a support in the back of the car may need to be replaced. Apparently it is a $30 part which can be purchased through the Avanti parts supplier in Michigan. The body of the car needs some work. People say it is a beautiful car as the Burgundy paint shines well. There are a variety of chips which can be seen in the pictures. The main issue is the passenger front fender where it was involved in a parking lot bump. Someone must have just hit the fiberglass hard enough to pop the seam and crack the paint. The bottomline is that the car needs minor body repair and you would likely want to repaint it. Fixing the fiberglass seam shouldnt be a big deal if done by a competent fiberglass repairman. The ebay system would not take the vin number which is on the title or on the door jamb. This car is RQB 3672 on the door jamb. Title says 12AAV1230D1003672. I placed a different vin in the listing so the computer would take it. The interior of the okay is in decent shape but there is a split in the driver seat as the picture shows. Wood needs to be re varnished. Little details need to be attended to in the interior, but nothing that can be done with a little elbow grease. The car is solid but needs a little care. It could be driven daily and enjoyed right away while you tinker with the issues. Previous owner placed a Clarion stereo in the glove box. The potential of this car is immense. Of importance are all the options that it has. If someone were to purchase this car and work on it, they would likely have a very nice car at considerably lower cost than the restored ones I have seen on Ebay lately. The basics are all there. This car could be driven and enjoyed now. Please review the pictures and let us know if you have any questions. We can be emailed or called, Steve 708-205-2043.
