Suspension Springs-

Poston Auto in Atmore AL, (334-368-8577), sells a spring that is wound in
such a way that the more pressure applied (say going over a pothole or big
bump), the stiffer the resistance, but under normal load, the ride is nice
and smooth.

I used to bottom out on my 87 but not any more.

I don't remember the price, however.

I know I tried regular GM springs, and I had the shop take them out because
they pushed the rear end way up in the air.

A/C control panel (June 2004)
I looked at an 82 Lebaron, and the panel was virtually identical (different
color though).  Looked at other Chrysler products of that same era (like 5th
Avenues) and found the panel in the Avanti-correct black color.

87 Avanti left window motor is the right Chrysler  Part #4336600. The 
right Avanti window motor is the Chrysler left Part #4336601. I replaced the 
right one recently with ACI brand of Maxair Division of Standard Motor
Products 
of Texas Part #86601, also designated on the box as Ssiemens #WL41004, and A1 
#42-46.

Window motors-
Right Avanti is Chrysler left #4336601. At a parts store I found it as #42-45.
Left Avanti is Chrysler right #4336600. A a parts store I found it as #42-46. 
They are considerably cheaper at a non-Chrysler outlet as you might know.

87 Power Window Switches;
Echlin product and the Napa number is RS1098. (The only problem is that a wire has to be added , but that is what the factory did.   (judnme@san.rr.com   Mark Mc Connell )
