From http://forum.studebakerdriversclub.com/showthread.php?68052-Reynolds-Garage-amp-Marine-Hamburg-CT Bob Bryant Location Niantic, CT USA Reynolds Garage & Marine Hamburg, CT While being aware of the Reynolds' family business and its time as a Studebaker dealer I visited it for the first time last week. The business started 1n 1859 and celebrated 150 years of continuous business activity in 2009. During the celebration a very nice book was prepared which provided extensive history regsrding the business. Having never visited Hamburg before it was soon realized that the Reynolds' family has a fantastic location for the business. It is quite rural with dairy farms and other agriculture and it was a surprise to see such a thriving business located away from larger population centers. Many of the windows provide a view of the adjoining marina and the Hamburg River which flows into the Connecticut River. Gary Reynolds has a 1950 Studebaker wrecker and a 1939 Coupe Express. The business has an original Reynolds carriage on display. You may find the link of interest if you have not viewed it, previously. It is included in a listing of former Studebaker dealers on Bob's site. You may enjoy the story if it is new to you. Happy New Year! http://www.reynolds1859.com/reynoldsabout.htm
