It is almost certainly the same one that was used on 76-77 Chevy small block engines. If the old one is still there, it should have a Delco or aftermarket number.

I could not find any numbers on the Transducer other than Delco stamped in housing.

I checked on Ebay and found a listing for two different Transducers for a 1976 Chevy. One had a two wire plug and one had a 3 wire plug.

I ordered a Cardone 36-101 Remanufactured Transducer with a 2 wire plug from Big Red Auto Parts, Fontana, Ca for $81.00 plus shipping. Cruise control works good now.

My Avanti II is a 1979, and the Cruise Control suddenly quit working. I have power to the transducer box so I removed it and found that it is stamped "Dana Corporation - Perfect Circle - Controls Division". I the cover (6 screws) and noted there were points inside. Thinking they may have lost contact, I used a points file on them, put things back together and it still does not work.
I have searched the web, without success, trying to find a replacement transducer, or a repair facility. Can anyone help?

Rostra took over from Dana. You might try to contact them but I'll bet chances are slim they have parts that old. You could also search Ebay for a Dana universal unit. Might be the same controller.

Where is the Cruise Control switch, clipped onto the T/S handle?

I removed one from the 76 damaged car but not sure if saved or not but if I did I will bring to S/B along with some other parts from that car.
