BRAK  - DRUMP - The correct and only type to use on early Studebakers has 3 
legs which bolt to the lugs on the drum and a threaded center pin to push on 
the axle.  The type that has hooks to grip the rear of the drum will destroy
 your drum.  J. C. Whitney sells a unit that works well for $49.99, last 
noted in an October 99 catalog as #12TB8895A, $49.99. It does attach to the 
lug bolts rather than pulling on the edge of the drum.

BRK-DRUM -  10" rear brake drum, IE,   63 V8 Lark, use 84-85 Jeep Cherokee 
2.7litre V6  brake drum.  (uses the smaller Dana rear end, not the Dana 44)
AutoZone lists two drums for the same vehicle. Exact same dimensions as the
 stude 10" by 2" with a 4-1/2" bolt pattern.  Listed on the computer as a 10 by 13/4 drum.  The drum is made by Aimco(#8838). Use your old hub, remove the 
old lugbolts and and press in new lugbolts that are 1/8th of inch longer 
(in order to press the hub into the new drum r else  the lugbolts are too 
short).  Mount the hub on the drum, mount the drum on the car, and keep on
 Studebakering.
