Just tried to order them from Summit, but said they are out of stock.
Well I guess you're right. Shows none. Other sites say they discontinued too.
I thought someone had another Moog number that works too. Hopefully they can chime in.

Archived copy of an old thread lists cc653. Anyone ever try those?

According to Jim Pepper's response in the link you posted, he has tried them:
"CC 653 is a similar spring for the same platform. It is for the Roadmaster and Park Avenue. It also applies to equivalent Olds cars. Because these models are a little heavier than the LeSabre and Olds 88, the rate is a little higher. The spring diameter and the wire diameter is close on both but the CC653 has less active coils so it has a higher rate. I have used a few sets of these but prefer the CC655. Studebaker did use progressive front springs in the late 50's. If you compare these to the specifications of the Studebaker HD 526122 to the CC655 you will find a similar rate, wire diameter, active coils, and free height. The progressive spring works better because as it is compressed, the rate increases and as it expands, the rate drops off. Harshness is reduced as well as body lean."
I just called Jegs & was told it showed discontinued however he said to call back tomorrow. Just because they show it discontinued doesn't necessarily mean they can't still get it. I hope so.

Warren, Try Auto Zone online and have them delivered to the store nearest you for around $50. They call them Duralast CC655.
Just tried it & it says "no results found" I'll call them tomorrow.

I just found a set of N.O.S 526123 springs.
I am home and do not have my books here to tell what they fit.
Make me an offer.

Whew! Glad I bought the two sets I used for my cars last winter.
Do remember the last box was rather beat up. Guess been banged around in a warehouse somewhere.

These are the same spring, that is if the information is correct.

They are around but made by different manufacturers. Not the price I like to pay but some more research might reveal a good source.
These may not be available.

These appear to be the same spring from ACDelco.

Please do your home work before purchasing. I'm just finding these tonight as it appears that the Moog are no longer being manufactured. I will confirm for myself over the next few days as I want at least one pair in stock.

Len, I have bought 3 sets, the first from my local flaps and gave $113 for them. The second I got from O'Reilly's and gave $79 for them. The third was from Auto Zone and gave $58. All 3 came from the same warehouse in Kentucky.
Given what all they are listed fitting, I'd expect NAPA or similar could come up with an interchange.
As of this evening,
Oreilly shows them in stock in Phoenix.
Napa site says out of stock.
Amazon shows 1 set left in stock.
