The best setup I have found is to eliminate the surge tank and use an angled thermostat housing from a Lark or Daytona to connect to the Moroso inline radiator filler cap. Then you can add an overflow coolant recovery tank which will mount perfectly on the right front fender area of the engine compartment. Moroso also makes a bolt-on aluminum filler neck which will replace the surge tank. It costs twice what the in-line unit does, but it looks and works better.
